Olson, a city employee, started down this path when Cypress celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007. One of Olson’s responsibilities is filming city council meetings. For the anniversary, he made a video about Cypress that piqued his interest in learning more.

Stories and anecdotes will be shared during a presentation about the City’s rich and varied past during the June 5 meeting of the Woman’s Club of Cypress. The program will celebrate the amazing story of how Cypress became the vibrant community that it is today. It begins at 11 a.m. and is free to the public.
